House of Aama is a boutique luxury fashion house and narrative design practice founded by mother-daughter duo Rebecca Henry and Akua Shabaka.

Through fashion, storytelling, and historical research, House of Aama explores folklore, memory, and the cultural traditions that shape contemporary life. Drawing from archival research, oral histories, and material culture, each collection examines the enduring connections between heritage, identity, and design.

Extending beyond the runway, House of Aama develops editorial projects, exhibitions, film, and cultural collaborations that expand its narrative practice across disciplines. Whether expressed through garments, objects, or experiences, the work invites deeper conversations around remembrance, cultural preservation, and the stories that continue to shape our collective future.
